Developing cancer is associated with a wide range of environmental, lifestyle and genetic factors, although these known risk factors do not totally account for the incidence of specific tumour types or cancer overall. In this seminar two experts will talk about their work investigating role of genetic factors in cancer using different methodological approaches, the interplay of genetics with other risk factors and how this research can be used in cancer screening.
